Parachutes for Pets helping pets evacuated from BC wildfires

Parachute for Pets is based in Calgary. Pets being evacuated from the BC wildfires are arriving in Calgary. Parachute for Pets is caring for them and placing them, in foster homes. Many have coughs and sore paws, but they are doing okay.
Hundreds of pets have come from BC.
Now the North West Territories is under an evacuation order. Pets will be arriving from there.

This is an overwhelming disaster for everyone. All the rescue groups are doing everything they can to help pets in need.
As long as they are safe they can be reunited with their families when this is over.

Sadly for some people there will be little left to go back to. But at least their pets are safe and cared for.

I do know someone from the North West Territories and I was very relieved to hear that their whole family is actually at an event in Ontario. So they are safe.
