A famous mama bear in Italy has been killed, leaving her two cubs motherless. The bear, nicknamed Amarena, used to visit a town near the National Park of Abruzzo. She would wander around the streets regularly, with her two cubs. People loved seeing her. Now someone has shot and killed her and no one knows where her cubs are. Without help, they won't survive.
The man has had his gun taken away and they are looking at charging him. The bear is an endangered species and killing a female is a serious incident.

What kind of person kills a mother with young babies?
Maybe guns should be banned. It is too easy for someone to do something serious like this.
Everyone was enjoying the bear's presence. They were connecting with nature on some level and now it is gone.
