ElderDog helps keep seniors and pets together
#1
ElderDog volunteers help care for the pets of seniors. They walk dogs and help with grooming and vets visits.
They will foster a dog if the owner is in hospital. By helping the dogs they are helping the seniors in the community.
Keeping a senior and a pet together benefits both and benefits the whole community

This is a great idea. There are already neighbours out there who help a senior with their dog.  ElderDog  is an organized group that helps those that don't have neighbours and friends who can help them. Because they are volunteers, you know they want to help with the pet. Keeping seniors and their pets together is good for them and it is good for the community. Society benefits from the presence of its oldest members. We need more groups like ElderDogs.

I think it is a beautiful idea. I wish there were a lot more groups like this.
