Polar bear cub takes his first swim
#1
It is hard to believe that the tiny cub in the first video is the same bear that you see in the second video. I saw Humphrey in person on Monday and he has gotten over his uncertainty about water. He is like a kid who won't come out of the pool. He was born to swim.

Both his parents are orphans who were raised at Toronto Zoo and he has been hand raised, but he is all bear.

It's amazing how much he has grown!! I expect he has a bit more to go, too. He soon looked quite at home in the water, but couldn't quite bring himself to jump in. I bet he does it all the time, now.

I saw him on Monday and he wouldn't come out of the water. He is like hi mother, she loves the water. His aunt prefers land. Dad id a pretty good swimmer too.

He is about half sized right now and he still looks like a goofy kid when you see him up close.
