New Spanish animal welfare law has contradictions.

Spain has just passed an animal welfare law. It has increased fines for animal abuse and neglect. It does not mention bull fighting, hunting dogs or dolphins in marine parks. Still it is a law, and it is a start.

I would have expected bull fighting to be the first thing banned. The abuse of hunting dogs should have been mentioned. It should have come with high fines.
Everyone knows that dolphins in marine parks have got to stop. It is just plain wrong. Still, it is a law and it can be improved. They had to start somewhere.
