Malaysian Wildlife Department uses live puppies to bait panther traps.
#1
The Malaysian Wildlife Department wants to catch panthers that are concerning local farmers. They are using live pupies as bait in the traps.
It is possible that the puppies will not be harmed, but is is still being condemned by Animal Rights groups.

Even if the puppy is not harmed, it is certainly traumatized. It also sets up the idea that puppies are expendable.
It encourages the panthers to think of puppies as prey. On so many levels this is wrong.
They are puppies, they are babies. Who even thinks of a baby of any species as bait for a trap.
