Beaver helping to rewild London
#1
Beaver were hunted to extinction in England 400 years ago. Now they are being returned. A family of 5 beavers have been released in Ealing's Paradise Fields.
They will transform the ecosystem and increase biodiversity. They will also control flooding.
They are now protected by law and they may not be harmed.

Beavers transform their environment for the better. If they can become established they will do a lot of good.
Restoring the species that we hunted to extinction seems to be the keys to restoring ecosystems.
We need to replace beavers anywhere that they previously existed. They can fix a lot of the damage we have done.
