Chewy the Alpaca takes a late night walk.

The Nanaimo RCMP got an interesting call at 2am. Chewy the Alpaca jumped the fence and was seen heading towards the highway. Chewy was found enjoying the sights and sounds  along the highway. Using their police cars to encourage him to move, Chewy was encouraged to go home. He did just that and he is now happily back at home with his people.

I am sure when they went to work that day, none of the officers expected to be tracking a wandering Alpaca. You never know what them day will bring.
I don't think Chewy planned to jump the fence either. He wasn't really going anywhere. Hopefully he won't plan any more adventures for a while.
