Interesting. The list of foods toxic to African Greys is similar to the list of foods toxic to dogs.
I wouldn't give any of those foods to my guinea pigs either.

Certain foods are toxic not just for a range of animals, but mammals in general including humans.

There are a lot of things toxic to humans. We still eat some of them. Most animals are smarter than that.

I am thinking that foods toxic to African Greys would also be toxic to other members of the parrot family.
What about Budgies? I have a rescue budgie and I am not always sure what she can eat.
