Have you seen a kangaroo on an Ontario highway?

Yes we have a kangaroo loose in Ontario, just east of Toronto.
Two kangaroos were being transported to Montreal when they took a rest stop at a zoo in Oshawa.
It turns out kangaroos can jump. It jumped right over the person handling him.
Now the kangaroo is on the loose. There have been sighting and people are searching, but no luck in catching the kangaroo.

I am thinking that anyone in Australia knows that kangaroos can jump.
Most of us in Canada have never been that close to a kangaroo.
I understand that volunteers that normally search for lost pets are now out there searching for the kangaroo. 
I think we can find him. He is big and noticeable. We are going to need help catching him.
We need to put a call out for someone from Australia who understands kangaroos.
In return we promise to help if you ever have a moose on the loose in Sydney.

People are still searching. She must be somewhere.

The search continues, but now it includes drones. They are using thermal imaging to try and spot the kangaroo.
So far when they have found her they have not been able to catch her.
The Toronto Zoo is prepared to send help in the capture once the kangaroo is found.

This is turning into a complicated rescue/capture.
We don't know what we are doing. It is our first kangaroo on to loose.
This could take a while.

The kangaroo is found and rescued. It seems she was spotted at 3am. At 6am police officers snuck up and grabbed her tail.
She didn't put up a fight. She was safely transported to a zoo where she could be looked after.

It is almost winter here so the kangaroo was probably glad to be caught. There wasn't much food around and it was cold. There was even some snow.
Life in a heated enclosure with meals provided is appealing. I am glad she was found safe.
