A delivery gone wrong?
#1
A home owner noticed a number of bags and boxes in their driveway. The bags were chicken feed. The boxes contained live chickens.
There were twelve chickens in three boxes.  He thinks it was a mistaken delivery.

He is probably right about it being a mistaken delivery. That raises a point about shipping live animals. They should never just be dropped off.
Someone should have to actually receive them. What if the home owner was away for a day or more. What if the weather turned bad.
A wild animal could have ripped open the boxes. The chickens were frightened, but they could also have been injured or killed.
Delivery companies need to be more responsible when they are handling live animals. Just dumping the bags of chicken feed was not too good either.
The chickens were lucky they were found by a responsible person.
