Lincolnshire Wildlife Park gives swearing parrots a time out
#1
Lincolnshire Wildlife Park has a problem with 8 parrots that swear a lot.
The park has about 2000 parrots. They are putting the swearing 8 in an enclosure with 100 other birds.
They hope the other birds will be a good influence and they will at least swear less often. Maybe they will learn nice things to say.

Maybe the other 100 birds will learn to swear. That is more likely what will happen.
Wouldn't it be better to ignore the birds when they swear. If no one reacts they will try other words.
They could play tapes of sounds and speech and hope the birds pick up some new words.
I will be interested to hear how this turns out.
