This is a beautiful story about an unforgettable pet.  Charlotte even survived a cat attack and jumping out of her bowl. She was thought to be dead, but no way was Charlotte giving up that easily. She learned and she remembered and was very much part of her people's lives. After they had to move and left her with neighbors, she was still going strong years later.

People underestimate goldfish. They are an intelligent fish. They live a long time and they keep on growing.
If we give them a chance they can become our most memorable pet. Charlotte certainly was.
