Greyhound racing track closes in England
#1
The track at Henlow Stadium has closed for good. The land is going to be used to build housing.
Other tracks across England have been closing.

There are less and less places where dogs can be raced. The tracks are being closed for other reasons, but it still benefits the dogs.
It is not worth raising dogs for racing if there are few places to race them.
Clearly dog racing is not considered important any more. Tracks are being used for other purposes.
It may take more time, but dog racing is coming to an end. Sadly not soon enough for the dogs that are still being used.
