Use owls not poison to control rodents.
#1
Western University in Ontario has chosen to put out poison to get rid of pests. A group of students is fighting the University's choice.
They are pushing the use of owls to control rodents. Putting out the right nest boxes will attract Screech Owls. The owls are a safe and effective way to deal with rodents. Poison gets into the food chain and harms other animals. The owls will target rodents. The owls are safer and more efficient.

I am glad to hear the students are fighting the university's choice. We need to start working with nature when we need to control nature. If we let it, nature will regulate itself.
Hopefully this will be very successful and other places will work with owls to control rodents. It would be wonderful to see more owls.
