US rancher bred hybrid sheep for hunting
#1
This is a shocking story. The rancher got parts, tissue from wild sheep  and mixed them with domestic sheep. He created large hybrids that were sold to private hunting preserves. What he did is illegal because it involves wildlife trafficking. Also captive animal facilities that produce animals for hunting are illegal in Montana. His animals will be inspected and quarantined. Where needed they will be neutered.

He just randomly hybridized sheep with no thought of the dangers of mixing genes like that. If any of his animals had gotten loose we don't know what the consequences would be. Also he was breeding them to be killed by trophy hunters. There was no part of anything he did was for the good of the animals or the environment. I guess he did it to make money. It was pure exploitation with no thought for anything else.
He could do some serious jail time and he should do some serious jail time.
