RSPCA expanding Pet Foodbanks
#1
The RSPCA is expanding its Pet Foodbank program in Surrey. The program was set up in 2020 and has given out 1.6 million meals for pets. They supply food to almost 140 locations.
Times are tough economically and they want to help people to be able to keep their pets.

Pet Foodbanks have become a reality as much as regular foodbanks.
Many places have pet foodbanks. A lot of different charities are involved in providing food for pets.
This is the new reality right now. Food is expensive for people and animals. Without help, many people would not be able to feed their pets.
Sadly some pets are being surrendered or even abandoned because people can't afford to feed them.
It is fortunate that there are pet foodbanks. At least some pets and their people are able to stay together at a time when they need each other.
