The Animal Legal Defense Fund does a lot of work for animals. They make legal challenges around issues like roadside zoos and puppy mills and animal transport.
They make the legal challenges needed to help animals. They have a number of lawyers who give their time for free. These legal volunteers are often unknown and unrecognized for the work they do. These lawyers were honored at the Animal Law Conference in October 2024.

Sometimes we don't think of all the people who give their time to help animals. There are many nameless volunteers out there.
It is good to recognize them. A lot of lawyers give their time to help animals. It is important we thank them by acknowledging them.
