Global warming creates dangers for sea turtles
#1
The warming oceans allow the turtles to swim further north and end up in dangerous places. The enter Cape Cod Bay when it is warm and when it turns cold, they can't get away. They end up cold shocked and they wash up on shore.
Places like the New England Aquarium take them in and restore them to health before they are released  to warmer waters.

They used to see 200 per year. Now they see 700 turtles per year.

These are consequences of global warming that most of us never considered.
Who knows how many turtles are not found and do not survive.
There are probably many other places around the world were the effects of climate change are unexpected and deadly.
Until we do something about climate change it is our responsibility to help the victims of the changes.
That means we need to support places like the New England Aquarium who are working to save climate change victims.
