Four hundred and fifty-five animals were rescued from a farm in Nottinghamshire in 2023. The owner was handed a 12 month prison sentence for his treatment of the animals. In all they rescued 19 different species. There were horses and donkeys, more than 50 dogs and puppies, 170 guinea pigs and one Llama.
Four of the donkeys were kept together and have been transferred to Bransby Horses. There with the help of older donkeys, they are learning to be donkeys.

It is good to know that after a big rescue like that, animals go on to have good lives. The four young donkeys have everything they need and more.
From a life of neglect and squalor, they live with peace, fun and abundance.
