Cheddar the street cat has lived in and around Toronto's closed planetarium for many years. People provided him with food and he was alright. Then the city decided it wanted to demolish the old building. Cheddar wasn't just going to be "homeless", he was also in danger from the machinery and destruction of the building.
With the help of New Cat City, Cheddar was captured and then cared for. He is in good health now and he has spent time in a foster home.
He is a 14 year old street cat who has retired from the streets and is ready for a new home. He will never be a lap cat, but he could have a good life with the right person.

I wish Cheddar ever bit of luck finding the right home.
He could have a good life in a home that didn't demand too much from him.
Leaving the streets is not easy for a cat. They don't trust humans much and they don't know how to enjoy the comforts of a good home.
I hope Cheddar can at lease be at peace living safely off the streets.
