A wildlife rescue volunteer came to the aid of a hawk that was on the ground. The bird was clearly in some kind of trouble.
When the rescuer turned the hawk over to help him, there was a snake wrapped around its neck. The hawk had caught the snake as food and the snake wrapped around the hawk in a desperate attempt to survive.
All ended well, both animals survived.

Sometimes an animal that has been taken as prey, just does not want to be eaten. This is an unusual situation. I am glad that both animals survived.
