Pets outnumber children in Japan

Japan is undergoing a real change. There are more pets than children. People are wanting to treat their pets as their children.
Companies that produce products for children are turning these products into pet products.
Pets now have clothing and strollers and even diapers.

People want their pets to have the best and manufacturers are happy to give it to them. It is a shift in the marketplace,
but not such a big one. People liked buying things for their babies, now they buy them for their fur babies.
The manufacturers are smart and flexible. I suspect this trend is in more places than Japan.
