Snake eggs in the planter

[Catherine]

People found some odd looking eggs in one of their planters. They were white, leathery and already empty. This being Ontario, they were likely Milk Snake eggs.
All seem to have hatched successfully.

Milk Snakes are scarce so having five hatch is a good thing. I just wish it had happened in my garden. I would be so excited.
If Milk Snakes wanted to hibernate in my place, I would be thrilled.

You have to admit they are pretty.
They are also very helpful in keeping the rodent population under control.
