Elephants reunited after 20 years

Shirley a lone elephant at a zoo was finally relocated to a sanctuary.
At the sanctuary was an elephant she had know in the circus, 20 years before.
Watching them reunite is enough to make you cry.
And Smile.




After a long and difficult life she has a peaceful retirement.

This is a very emotional and happy tale. I have seen this before but it never ceases to make me cry!!
I'm so very pleased that they were reunited.

They actually remember each other. Elephants are amazing.

I get this urge to look up a childhood friend that I lost touch with.
Can you imagine if there was an elephant Facebook. They would really connect with each other.
