		There is no doubt, most countries need tougher sentences for dog fighting. All the animal cruelty laws need to be tougher, but dog fighting is particularly nasty.  It is premeditated.  They actually have to plan out the fights. There are no mitigating factors. People who fight dogs choose to do something brutal and inhumane. There intention is to see animals get hurt.
Stronger sentences are needed. We can only hope they are not too long in coming.

		I hope they at least have the will to do what is right. Severe penalties for dog fighting will send the right message. Anything less just tells the dog fight  organizers to go ahead and do what they want.
