The South Korean government is serious about ending bear bile farming in 2026. There will be jail sentences for those who break the law.
The real problem now will be the future of bears still on bear farms. There are some sanctuaries, but not enough for the number of bears.
This still needs to be sorted out.

It may take time to move all the bears, but at least the bile extraction has to stop.
Hopefully places will be found for the bears in various sanctuaries. They may have to be moved to other countries.
Maybe some zoos around the world could take some bears. Sadly they can't be returned to the wild to live natural lives. Some of them were bred in captivity and have spent their whole lives on bile farms. Even after we end industries that exploit animals, the animals don't always have good lives.
