Syrian refugee carries his dog 300 miles

A 17 year old refugee fled with almost nothing and walked 300 miles.
What he did have with him was his little dog. He carried the dog. Because he loves her.

Sometimes in the midst of a very dark situation you see a shining ray of light. He loves his dog, he wouldn't leave her. When I look at all the terrible things that go on in the world, I will remember a boy who loved his dog so much he carried her to safety. I would be proud to have both of them come to my country.

Absolutely. So would I. The world needs more people like him.

I just think the story is beautiful. In the midst of turmoil there are always shining heroes, those people who do the right thing and do it happily.

I really hope they end up somewhere safe and can have a good life together.

There are probably many stories of people just as courageous, but we might never hear about them. I am glad we got to hear this story.
