With the number of power failures we have had, wood burning sounds like a good idea. If we lost power I would get cold no matter what plans I have made. I could start a fire outside. It would at least be better than freezing inside. And as you say, you can cook when you have wood heat.

I hear on the radio that you are getting clobbered with snow storms right now. We are sitting here waiting for it all to arrive....not eagerly awaiting, but waiting. You know it is out there and you know it is coming. Sigh.
