Aww! I am sorry I missed this post before!
It is a lovely idea to have an animals' Memorial Day. If the Queen can have an 'official' birthday, then all our companion animals should have a special day too.....why not?
Not that there is one day goes by without me remembering and honouring my particular loved ones. Every day is a 'memorial day' in a very nice way.
