Even if petitioning the Government has not yet brought about change, we need to continue to do that. If a constant noise is made one day it will definitely bring about change.

I see not much difference actually to the way Nazis treated humans. And considering what we know and are learning more about today; i.e. the capacity for suffering -emotional, mental, and physical, of all animals, to continue to treat them this way constitutes a crime in my opinion.
