Maybe they secretly wanted to replace the furniture that was destroyed and the dog gave them an excuse.
Some of those couches were absolutely totaled.

I would want to do a little training because it would be expensive if it kept on happening. Next time it might be something you didn't want to lose.

It reminds me of the movie "Marlie and Me". He was one destructive dog. He tore up the floor. I love that movie.
