I am guessing that no one has the common buzzard as a national animal. Pity that, they are a very practical and useful bird.
That is pretty classy having a dragon as a national animal. I did not know Wales had the daffodil as a national flower. I shall think of that if my flowers ever bloom this year.
We have Eagles and hawks, even Kestrels, but I have never seen a Kite. I am not sure we have them in North America.
I did check and the National animal of England is the Lion, because of its bravery. No one mentioned a unicorn. There are definitely not too many of those around. I know I have never seen one.
Many have seen Nessie so he should have national animal status somewhere.
