Break-in at an animal shelter

This is a shocking story. The animal shelter in Riverside, California was broken into and vandalized. Two dogs were left dead, one escaped and was hit by a car and a dozen other were missing.

I can't imagine the shock the staff must have felt when they arrived in the morning. What kind of person does something like this. The two dogs they killed were just little dogs, so vulnerable. Who knows what has happened to the missing dogs.
I hope they catch whoever did this. There is a pretty good reward. I am sure someone will have seen something or know something.

The whole thing is so sad. I hope they find the rest of the dogs safe.
