Happy Birthday Norbert

It is hard to believe, but six years ago I sat up with Miss Charlie as she was giving birth. Tiny little Norbert is now six years old. Time just flies sometimes.

Miss Charlie is the black piggie. Pigbert, the dad is on the right. Norbert is in the middle.   Both parents are gone now, but they had so much fun with baby Norbert.  He was so cute.So cute.
Norbert grew up to be a happy piggie and has enjoyed the company of other guinea pigs all his life.


He was close to Murray and Robbie.

I couldn't find a picture of him alone.

Norbert's whole life has been spent in the company of other guinea pigs.

This is still my favourite picture. Norbert has been quietly happy all his life. He has lived in the company of loving parents, loving brothers and he has always been content. In six years he has always been a sweet gentle guinea pig. I always think of him as Pigbert's gift to me before he died.  He is in good health so who knows how much more time we have together. I am glad I have had six years.
