Roswell shelter has had a high euthanasia rate. They have 10 times the national stray average so it has been hard for them.
Rescue groups working with them are encouraging them to do better and they have.
Now they have decided to lengthen the time and animal is kept before it is euthanized.
It is not a perfect solution, but they are clearly improving.

With the help of rescue groups hopefully things will get even better and one day Roswell will be a no kill shelter.
Bad shelters with high kill rates can be helped and improved.
