Some tourist attractions are aware of Trip advisors decision and they are concerned about how this will affect them.

Most of them seem worried about loss of business. The Dolphin Research Center suggests that Trip Advisor has missed the point about animal encounters inspiring conservation efforts.
This whole issue needs to be looked at closely. I am sure there are places where the animal encounters are part of a conservation effort. However most of the tourist sites are just exploiting the animals and I think they have the opposite effect. They give people the idea that animals are something we have the right to exploit for our own entertainment.
