I do think blindness would be different for a wild animal, as animals I love said.
Dogs can do quite well in familiar surroundings when they have lost their sight. They also have us to help. And in Kimchi's case, he has Ginger to help! Which is great.
That's a whole different thing to a wild animal out with the "pack" who may be in varied surroundings at any time of day or night.
I think any wild animal would be seriously disabled.
Even though dogs particularly rely on their sense of smell to a great extent.
