Good to see you back, Sameer! I'm afraid that humans are a very mixed bunch. Some are aware of the issues of compassion and respect for all life forms. Others are "spirit dead" and only care about themselves and close family. The suffering of others, especially other species, is for them an irrelevance. Sometimes I am ashamed to be human when I hear or see the cruel things which they do.

We can but hope that humans will develop more sensitivity and compassion. In the meantime, all we can do is publicise and fight acts of cruelty.
