Our intensified farming methods have set up breeding grounds for viruses.
That article shows us how we got where we are now with bird flu. What we haven't figured out is how to get out of the mess we are in now. It was bad when the bird flu was detected in farmed birds. Now that it has spread to wild birds, I don't think we can stop it. It will keep spreading.
Maybe we can create a vaccine, but how will we give that to all the birds that would be at risk.
Once again we have created another fine mess.
