He may have been trying to cross the road. There are a lot of problems with wildlife and roads. That is why some places are building underpasses for animals so they can safely cross the boundaries that we created in their territories.
Did you look at any of the other videos?

Yes I did watch the other videos. There are some good ones. Bless that policeman in Wisconsin who stopped the traffic for a mother duck and ducklings! Good man!
I did get a bit fed up of the 'Cloud' advert....with no option to skip it....
I felt a kind of sad empathy for the little Elephant who was put into that empty sterile room all on her own. I know she will be looked after (am sure) and won't hopefully, be on her own all the time, but it seemed so sad in a way.
It is really nice that Hero the frost-damaged calf has been given prosthetic hooves! It was so nice to see that thoughtfulness given to a calf.

That mother bear knew exactly what she was doing, didn't she?
We cause so many issues for the wild life but they seem to cope, mostly.

Animals have learned to cope with the issues we create. They understand that highways are dangerous and try to protect their babies from them. Of course every spring a goose or duck leads her babies across the busies highway at rush hour. There is something powerful about motherhood. All the cars stop and they make it safely.
