Fighting Dogs Saved!!!!

In the fall of 2015 the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals seized a number of dogs when a dog fighting ring was raided.  A number of the dogs were too damaged to survive. The rest were considered dangerous. The OSPCA applied for permission to euthanize the dogs.
Dog Tales and Animal Justice launched a legal battle to stop this from happening.

It has been a long battle and two dogs have died since, but....the dogs are safe!!!
They will be shipped to Florida to Dogs Playing for Life, a shelter that can deal with dogs like this.

So after a horrible life as fighting dogs and many months on death row, 19 dogs will have a chance at a better life. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a chance. Animal Justice and Dog Tales worked hard and they deserve the credit for saving the dogs. 
I hope some day we hear reports that the dogs are doing well in their Florida home.
They are true Canadian dogs, they retire from their old life and then off they go to Florida to escape the winter.
