Golf course given permission to cull endangered species
#1
A golf course in Tasmania found some animal feces  on its greens. They applied for and got permission to kill animals. They may not be the ones that caused the mess, but they are still allowed to kill them.

Fortunately locals have started to fight back and protest the cull. There is a chance that they can stop it.

One of the protesters put it so well.
"It is unacceptable to think that playing golf means more than an animal's life,"
"If they're worried about poo on the ground, they can just pick that up."

I think she puts it very concisely  and clearly. She has a good grasp of the issues.

The other key point she makes is that culls don't work. Other animals fill the space left by the culled animals.
I wish them luck with their protests. No animal should die because of a golf course.
