Disinfectant used to control Corona virus has killed animals
#1
As an infection control measure during the corona virus outbreak China has been spraying disinfectant around. Sadly over 100 animals are dead and the disinfectant is the likely cause.

The animals have had a good time of it. The virus outbreak is likely caused by wildlife that was illegally hunted. Pets have been killed out of fear of the virus even though they are not the cause. Some farm animals have been killed out of fear even though they are not the cause and they do not spread the virus. Now wildlife has died because of disinfection methods. This virus has been hard on humans, but in many ways animals have suffered more. It is not their fault, but they are still being blamed. I doubt the animal deaths have stopped yet. It is unlikely that the illegal wildlife trade that started this has stopped either. It is sad and unnecessary for animals to die because of a virus outbreak that doesn't even infect then.
