That's right, they have created vegan Spam. Spam has a long history and it is popular as a food in south east Asia. Removing the pork product from the menu wasn't going to be possible. Instead, a vegan version was created. It had to taste, smell and have the same texture as spam. The vegan version does all that.
It just doesn't contain pork so it is not part of the pork industry.

If they can make vegan span they can make anything. I ate spam as a student, fried spam and eggs, spam sandwiches, spam and KD, spam stir fry and even roasted spam. I would have switched to the vegan version. It would have been healthier too.
If we can replace popular foods with vegan versions then we can make a serious move away from eating meat.
