Beluga Whale and Bottlenose Dolphin die at Marineland
#1
A Beluga Whale and a Bottlenose Dolphin have died recently at Marineland in Ontario. Kiska, the Killer Whale, died in March. That makes three marine mammal deaths in two months. Marineland is refusing to comment.
Animal rights groups are pushing for answers.

This is just more of the same from Marineland. They are told to comply to certain standards of care. It isn't done and the animal has died. They refuse to comment. Kiska should not have died and should not have died while still at Marineland. I am sure the two latest deaths should not have happened.
The only way to stop this is to shut Marineland down completely.
Not everyone loves Marineland.

Why are these horrible prisons still allowed?

Technically they are not allowed. They can't breed them or use them in shows. They can't bring in new ones.
Why don't they give up and let them go to sanctuaries? They are in trouble because the animals are not being kept in healthy conditions.
The fact that three marine mammals have died in two months is proof that they are not being kept properly.
Maybe they think they can still make some money from them.
